How you can get involved in iSummit movie-making
The iCommons team are hard at work, preparing footage from the iSummit '08 in Sapporo for release on the web.
Videos of the keynote addresses will be released weekly starting 10 September on this website, on the iSummit Youtube channel, Dotsub and other video sharing sites.
There will also be three feature videos released after the event. An iSummit highlights video will be released by early October, along with a Local Context Global Commons video which will feature the project that is a partnership between organisations in Brazil, South Africa and India, and which culminated in this year's lab. In association with APC, a video called Nailing the Commons will be released by mid-September, see two 'preview' clips from this video here.
The aim of this video archive site is to gather footage captured at the iSummit '08 in one central space so that attendees and the iCommons community at large can use this data as resources within their field of expertise.
So, if you attended the event and shot video footage of the iSummit '08 - please share this footage with the community by uploading it on this site. Any footage will do - whether it was captured on your mobile phone's camera or high definition video camera, whether it is footage of a keynote or a party - we know there are film gems just waiting to be shared! If you need any assistance with the upload process, please refer to our help page.
